BioA fandom journal! Because I am one of those sad people who doesn't like her RL friends knowing how fannish she is. =[
Anyway, I'm just a 21-year-old college student working on a BA in English Lit who does fandom stuff to blow off steam. I've been participating in online fandoms for more than a decade, since I was around nine (God only knows why I was allowed such unfettered internet access at that age). My first fandom was Animorphs, the book series, and after that I got into the His Dark Materials fandom, which is the fandom I've been continuously active in for the longest amount of time.
At the moment, I am most active in the "Avatar: the Last Airbender" and "House, M.D." fandoms. This journal is a place for my fic, rants, spec, meta, and other fannish activities. If you share any of my fandoms, friend me. I love friends!
It is in the nature of not just fandom, but the intarwebz in general, to be hyperbolic, sarcastic, and irreverent. I'm not really terrible about this, but still, if I'm ever being overly capslocky or wanky, dial things back by a dozen or so notches and you'll be closer to the truth of the matter. Unless, of course, I flat-out state that I am not exaggerating. It happens once in a while.
